Boardwalk, UncleDans & 4th of July

Beach Days

4th of July + Our mini vacation/exciting news

Wow, I don't even know where to start, I know I just posted but I have lots more to write about already. I'll start with the 4th of July. Thursday the 3rd of July, I took the boys up to Mom and Dad Fell's house. We hung out for a little then we headed over to the college to watch some fireworks. The boys loved the show! I was afraid that Colin and Paul would be scared but neither of them seemed frightened at all. The fireworks were great, they did a real good job, when they shot off the very last firework we could feel the ground vibrating and the sound was extremely loud. I was kind of freaked by it, but the kids thought it was great. After the fireworks show, we went back to Mom and Dad's. The boys each got an ice cream cone. Paulie loved his ice cream, he was so funny with it. He was biting the bottom of the cone to try and work his way up, I couldn't help but laugh. We all had a great time. The next day was actual 4th of July, the boys and I went to my parents' house. We had a lot of fun there as well, we had steaks and potatoes for dinner followed by hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Aunt Sue brought over banana daquiris which were delicious. After that we did sparklers while Sean sang God Bless America haha. (Thats his new thing now) My Dad also shot off some fireworks and did a couple fountains. After we finished up with the sparklers and fireworks we all went inside to get settled. We were all sitting around in the family room. Paulie stood himself up and had his balance in the middle of the room. My cousin Ryan said he's not going to walk he'll probably drop to the ground and crawl, which is what he usually does. But I had a feeling that he was going to try and take off, so I kneeled down across from him and called his name with my arms out to him. He stood there for a couple minutes, almost like he thought about it first but, he all the sudden starting taking steps by himself and walked himself right over to me. My family and I made a big fuss over him we clapped and praised him for taking his very first steps. He looks so funny walking he wobbles like a drunk haha. I have to say that moment for me was bitter sweet. I was happy that he took his first steps because, I was a little worried that he was 16mos old and not walking yet. It made me feel at ease to know he could do it plus you could see how happy he was to be able to get around by himself. On the other hand, I was a little sad and almost got teary eyed. When they start walking it feels like they're not babies anymore it's like the initiation of becoming a toddler. I still remember when he was a newborn his first year flew by and now he's walking and saying a few words. I can't believe how big he has gotten and how fast it all happened. The boys thought it was great that their baby brother was walking. Sean and Colin wanted to take turns having Paulie walk back and forth between them. They were so excited and it was nice to see them take part in Paul's first steps. I did get over being sad about him walking because, Im looking on the bright side....which is now he's independent and doesn't need to be carried all of the time. Which will be easier for me so that I can pay a little more attention to Sean and Colin because, Paulie's not always on my hip like he used to be. Now that he's been walking he wants to walk everywhere and on his own. He does get into everything tho so its not completely easy but with time he will learn what he can't have or grab and what he can.
So this past Sunday we went to Uncle Dan and Aunt Terri's for another 4th of July celebration. We had a good time seeing everyone and the kids had a good time as well, they did sparklers and the adults set off a few fireworks. The funniest part of the night was when Aunt Donna made a bet, if she lost she had to get on the ATV for a ride with Uncle Dan. So of course, there was some arguing going on before hand but, Aunt Donna was a great sport and got on there for a ride. I was happy that I took some pics of it! It was fun to see everybody and catch up a little bit.
So needless to say we had a great 4th of July weekend!

Moving on...I took Colin and Paul down the shore on Tuesday to pick up Sean Patrick, he went down the shore last saturday with his Dad to Sea Isle. So I decided I was going down to North Wildwood Tuesday to pick him up and let Colin and Paul have a few beach days and I wanted to put all 3 boys on the rides at the boardwalk. It was a good excuse to get a little vacation. We all had a wonderful time. We hit the beach Tuesday late afternoon Paulie was walking everywhere on the sand. Sean and Colin were building sand castles and running in and out of the ocean. The water was bitter cold so they weren't really swimming in the water to long. Paulie loved the ocean! He didn't care how cold the water was he just wanted to be in it as much as he could be. Of course he was covered in sand head to toe. He kept doing head stands in the sand, you'll see what Im talking about in the pictures. He was filled with sand but didn't care at all. Wednesday was kind of a crappy day, but we still went to the beach for a little and Wednesday night we walked the boardwalk. It was raining at 1st so we took the boys to the arcade where they played ski ball and basketball. Once the rain subsided we went on some rides. Paulie loved the rides. He did the boats with his brothers, the big and little carousel, the buggy cars, and the hot air balloons, they go around in circles and lift you up high as you go around. He was loving it, it was so cool to see him on the rides having a good time. Sean and Colin did lots more rides besides the ones I mentioned because their height appropriate for a lot more but all 3 of them had such a great time! It made me so happy to see them having fun and enjoying themselves. They had constant smiles on their faces. Thursday was a beautiful beach day. The boys dug a huge hole and a tunnel in the middle of it to crawl through. Even Paulie was crawling through it, he thought it was the greatest thing. Thursday night we went on the boardwalk again my grandparents treated us to Sam's Pizza for dinner and we hit the rides again. We played a few games Sean and Colin each played a game where they got to throw 2 darts each at balloons. They both hit a balloon the first try they were so thrilled that they won a prize. We also did the Olympic casino and they each did a few slots where they won coupons to pick out toys. Sean got a flash light, Colin got bubbles, and Paulie got a ball. This morning we just packed and got ourselves ready to come home. Paulie had horrible diaper rash. He got up at 6am screaming bloody murder, he was in a lot of pain. Im hoping it heals fast because its breaking my heart to see him in that much pain. Im thinking it was caused by all the sand in his diapers over the past 3 days. So today we stayed away from the beach for Paulie's sake I couldn't let him get any worse. But, it was great to spend time with my grandparents, they really enjoyed the kids on the beach. I hadn't seen them in a little while so it was really nice. Im sure we'll be back down again and maybe next time Rich can go with us. It's a shame that he didn't get to see them experiencing the shore because, it was so exciting to them and they were so good because they were occupied constantly. I really needed to get out of Philly for a few days I feel like after being in all winter long its just what we all needed. We really had a great week. :)
Hope you all are enjoying your summer to, and those of you with young kids try and get to the shore because, it really is such a happy time to see your kids enjoying new things.

Philly Fanatic

Sean's Surprise

The beginning of this month Sean, his dad and I went to the Phillies game. We had a great time at the game supporting the Phillies, but as soon as the Fanatic came out to do his routine Sean automatically demanded for us to get him closer to the Fanatic because, he wanted to hug and talk to him. We left our seats towards the end of the game to see what we could do to meet Sean's request but NO luck! A very nice man was leaving the game early and gave his ticket stubs to us so we could sit closer but we were behind home plate and the Fanatic was up on the dug out by 1st base. Sean was extremely disappointed, he was so upset that he didn't get to hug the Fanatic, he kept telling us on the ride home that he had a horrible time. So a couple of weeks ago my Mom found out that the Fanatic was making a special appearance at my brother's home fields at St. Leonard's near her house in Holland. The field was hosting a special olympics day made for children with special needs. It was really cool they had them playing baseball and doing other activities so they could enjoy the day and play some sports. My Mom wanted it to be a surprise for Sean she knew how disappointed he was that he didn't get to see him at the game. We all kept it a secret and we drove over to the fields. The fire engine sirens were going off and when it got closer there was the Fanatic on top of the Fire Engine doing a little dance to make his grand entrance! He got off the truck to greet the kids and the parents. Sean was so surprised I think he was actually a little shocked at first. He was thrilled, he was following the Fanatic around along with the other kids. At first it was a little hard to grab him for a quick pic but then we finally were able to snap a couple pictures and Sean was a very happy kid! I wanted a picture of Sean and Colin with the Fanatic but, Colin ran scared to my mom he was not having it! But it was a really nice time, and it always makes me happy to see one of my kids so excited and happy. Thanks Mom that really made his day!

Just a little catching up...

Hello All! Hope everybody's had the chance to start enjoying the summer...we have! The boys love to swim, play outside, dig for worms, catch lightening bugs, and ride bikes even if it's 100 degrees out! Sean and Paulie have transformed into water bugs! Anytime we go anywhere with a pool, lake, etc they want to throw on a bathing suit and jump right in! Paulie gives us the hint by getting that index finger going! Colin on the other hand doesn't happen to be a big fan of the water or going swimming. When we go to my Mom and Dad's he'll get in the pool for a while but somebody's got to be holding him at all times even though he has a life vest on. He is terrified to swim by himself and he always shouts, it's cold! Sean still wears a swim tube that keeps him afloat in the water. My parents' pool is a 4 foot deep pool and he can't touch the ground in it yet. My Mom was trying to suggest him taking it off to learn how to swim without needing a tube on but, he just wanted to play and swim. I was thinking that maybe I should've done swim lessons. But there's always next year, right?! The baby is so funny in the water, he kicks his little legs, keeps his arms going, splashes, and always has a smile on his face while in the pool. He really enjoys his new float we just got him to. His float is a mini wave runner, it has a sun shade on the back to keep the sun out of his eyes and it plays twinkle little star and row your boat. He loves it! He even sat in it when we took it out of the pool. Of course to him the best part is that it plays music. But it's great for us to so that my Mom or I don't have to hold him the whole time.

Today was an exciting day for Colin.....he pooped on the potty for the first time ever today!! I was so proud of him. We've been harping and bribing him to poop on the potty for about a month now. Both of his Mommom's and his GG have been doing the same and have been coming up with different prize ideas to buy him for going on the pot. Sean, my brother Kevin, and I all made a big deal out of him going potty and made it very exciting for him. Which I think he absolutely loved being the center of attention and he could tell how happy I was with him. So Mommom Jurewicz promised another trip to Build A Bear to buy more clothes for his monkey that she bought him a few weeks ago. Mommom Fell i'm sure will come up with a gift idea to praise him, as well as his great grandmother Mommom Mayza. I was so glad that we have now officially started the process. I was getting a little worried being his 3rd birthday is around the corner August 8th. Phew Im glad that now I know it's in him to do it!

Anyways, we've been making a lot of day trips to our parents' houses. The boys have been enjoying themselves very much. They are very lucky to have 2 great sets of grandparents' houses to go to that they have a lot of fun at. At Mommom & Pop Fell's they have been catching lightening bugs, digging for worms, riding in the flintstone cars as I call them haha, playing Sesame Street workshop on the computer and Paulie's been enjoying the little slide. At Mommom and Pop Jurewicz's we swim in the pool, Colin and Paul love going on the swings, Sean and Colin like the trampoline, we do sparklers, and we even roasted marshmallows to. They're kept occupied at both grandparents houses and it's been a lot of fun for all of us. It's just what we need after a long winter of being in the house. Im looking forward to having a great summer with the boys and our families. Soon enough we'll be visiting my grandparents in North Wildwood to hit the beach and the rides on the boardwalk. Sean is very excited to take a little trip!

Also this month was Father's Day, we had a great day. Unfortunately Rich had to work in the morning but he was done by 2:30 which was nice. We spent our afternoon at Mom and Dad Fell's for some lunch, Pop Fell made a couple creek trips with the boys, and we did some outside activities too. Dad Fell mentioned his Father's Day was a great day just by being with his 3 grandsons. Then when our visit came to an end we headed to my Dad's to have dinner with my Dad (Pop J) and my grandfather. We swam in the pool, enjoyed a nice dinner, and did sparklers when it got dark out. The sparklers were a big hit with Sean and Colin they loved doing them. They were so funny with them and they thought it was so cool. But I could tell that my Dad and my Pop were happy to be with us and enjoyed our company on Father's Day. I was happy that all of the very important men in our lives had a great Father's day as well as Rich. Rich just wanted to be with the boys and have a beer in his hand and he was happy lol!

The week after Father's Day Sean, Colin, and Paul got to meet their new cousin Colbie Shea! We visited Moll and Dan, the new baby, and the house. It was so great to visit with our cuddies and their new addition! Mollie is already back to her normal size, lucky girl! I've never seen a Mom look better than she did right after having a baby! :) During our visit we could feel the joy they were experiencing seeing them with their new daughter. The baby was so adorable, her eyes were a beautiful blue and her hair was so blonde! She was so tiny, you really do forget how tiny they really were. I do have to say she reminded me a little of Kam when Kam was a newborn. Colbie has a tiny little face and tiny features just like Kamryn did when she was born, just different coloring and their features aren't exactly alike but they did remind me of each other in some way, both babies are adorable! She was awake most of the time we were there and seemed like a very pleasant baby. Both Colbie and their new house are beautiful! Congrats Mollie and Dan!

Moving on I found out that I most likely got that job that I mentioned in my last post. At Salon Metro. I will find out this week for sure so cross your fingers, pray for me, etc. Whatever it is that you do to wish people luck please do that for me this week! I will be very happy if I get the job I'm very ready to go back to work and start a career that I will love. We'll see what happens, Im hoping for the best. We're also looking to move out of the city now. Our neighbors aren't exactly what we've wished for and Sean's starting school in September and thought it'd be a better idea to get him in a better district without worrying about tuition for catholic school because once Colin and Paulie start chool that will be more than a mortgage in itself. So we figured we'd try and get ourselves where we ultimately want to be anyway. Wish us luck! I'll keep you all posted! I want to congratulate Jessica on graduating from Highschool. Im sorry we couldn't be there to celebrate but we were certainly thinking of you!
That's all for now and hope you are all having a good summer! :)

MomMom & Pops 50th

Jumping into June

Jumping Into June
June is now here, I don't know where May went. But, we're all happy to see summer coming so quickly. We celebrated my Grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, May 31st. My Mom, Aunt Sue, Uncle John & Jerry, hosted the party at my Mom & Dad's house. Party started at 4:00, Mommom and Pop made their grand entrance around 4:30. Why do I say Grand Entrance? Mommom suggested she come "fashionably late" to the party, so we were teasing her asking her if she was planning on making a Grand Entrance! Originally my Mom and Aunt Sue thought up an arch way idea for Mommom & Pop's "Grand Entrance" haha. They still did decorate an arch way for the happy couple to stand under which they did for a couple pictures, a toast and the presentation of our gift. The party turned out really great. Everything was set up really well. We had tents, tables, chairs, and good food. We had two tri fold poster collages of my Grandparents wedding day and the other was filled with funny random pictures along with a cake displayed with my grandparents wedding picture on it. Uncle Jerry started "The Toast" he talked about family memories and good times we've had, Aunt Sue spoke about how Mommom and Pop are the glue that keep our family together, which left Uncle John lost for words haha. But, I shouldn't be laughing I was supposed to toast as the oldest grandchild and couldn't I was to teary eyed by the touching words Uncle Jerry and Aunt Sue said. Thinking back on it I wish I was able to do it. MomMom and Pop are probably the best grandparents any grandchild could ever ask for. What's amazing about them is they some how were able to grow with us and our needs through the years. As young children they watched every one of our games, attended and helped at every birthday party, and came to see us at every graduation, school dance, or award ceremony. Pop always joined in physical activities with us I remember him jumping in the ocean with us and setting us up on our boogie boards to catch good waves, he'd also take us on the scary roller coasters at Morey's Pier in Wildwood, and never missed a wiffle ball game. Of course you can't forget the occasional teasing calling Jaime, Megan, and I "Sara Snodgrass" anytime we were being brats he created this really ugly name that would make us so mad! He got a kick out of it. Mommom was always there to give us great advice whether or not we wanted to hear it always varied haha but she knew when we needed a kick in the ass. She must have made over a ton of dresses for us to wear. She made from my communion dress to putting the finishing touches on my senior prom dress. She came to see every one of us before leaving for any school dance or prom. There are 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren that's a lot to keep up with. But, they amazingly never miss anything that goes on in any of our lives. We all really do recognize how blessed we really are to have them as our grandparents. Now they are "Great Grandparents" to my 3 sons. The way they treat Sean, Colin, and Paul you would never know they were just great grandchildren. The boys love Mommom & Pop very much. Mommom and Pop take the boys and I to lunch at Chuck E Cheese, Mommom walks the mall with us once a week, and she always makes sure she sees the kids. Colin gets the biggest kick out of Mommom. He knows she won't put up with his crap so he does things to get a rise out of her, but for as much as she corrects him, he's always asking for her. Along with Paulie that puts his arms out for her everytime he spots her. I know that there have been plenty of times that I don't know what I'd do without either one of them and Im sure Im not the only one. Aunt Sue was right, they really do keep this family together so well. So Mommom & Pop, there are the words I wanted to say for my toast. Im sorry that I was unable at the time to actually say it. Back to the party the toast was followed by the presentation of their gift that my parents, aunts, and uncles gave my grandparents which was a professional portrait of all 18 grandchildren. Everybody really had a good time at the party, it was nice to see everyone and Im pretty sure my grandparents had a wonderful memorable anniversary! :)

After the anniversary party we celebrated my sister Jaime's 21st birthday. Jaime and her friends planned a night of drinking down on Delaware Ave. I went down there with Megan and her boyfriend Jim. We didn't even get to go in, I forgot my ID at home so we didn't get to party with my sister :( but she still had a great day anyway! Happy Birthday Jaim!

Sean also had his last soccer game of the season this weekend. He played great as usual, he has scored at least 2 goals every game. The game ended and was followed by a trophy presentation and the team all got together for some pictures. Sean was sad that soccers over but I told him i'd look into a new activity for him. We also went to the Phillies game yesterday with his Dad. The Phillies played great they were losing at first then came back and won the game. It was a great game to watch. It was my first time at the new stadium, it was so nice and set up so awesome. Sean Patrick was disappointed because, he wanted to see the Phillie Fanatic. He was dancing on the dug out and there was no way we could get him close enough to the Fanatic. We left our seats at the bottom of the 6th to try and get him a closer look and it turned out a couple guys had to leave the game they were sitting in the 200s section which are great seats and he actually turned around and handed us his tickets so we got to sit much closer to the field behind home plate. On the ride home I asked Sean, "did you have a good time?" He said "No! I didnt get to talk to the Fanatic". So we googled the Fanatic to see if there was a way for us to go and take him to a place that he was doing a promotion at and there was nothing if anyone knows a way we could arrange for him to see the Fanatic please let me know, he keeps asking even today he brought it up again.

Another exciting thing that happen this week. We all welcomed a new little cuddy Pagnotta Family member. Danny & Mollie (my cousin in laws) just welcomed their new daughter Colbie Shea into the world on May 27th. I believe she was 6lbs 5 oz. I can't wait to see her in person but, I did get to see some pictures and she's beautiful. Congrats Moll & Dan!! Enjoy her now it goes by to fast!

Seans Graduated

Sean's officially a graduate from Pre- K. He graduated from Christian Nursery School on Thursday, May 22nd. The kids put on a graduation show for all the parents. They started with a procession all the children walked up the middle aisle to their seats. They sang songs, danced, and Sean's teacher Mrs. Saybolt explained to all of the families what the children have learned during the school year. Sean really enjoyed being on stage and did a great job during the show. After the show Mrs. Saybolt called each child one by one to receive their little diplomas. We celebrated with my Mom and my MomMom we all went to Chuck E Cheese for lunch. The boys ate pizza, played games and went on some rides, they really love it at Chuck E Cheese they get so excited to go there. They have a great time, every time. Paulie loves riding the carousel. We must have put him on 3 or 4 times and he cried when I took him off. He cried and pointed to the ride. He is becoming a little person now. He surely does know what he wants and when he wants it. He's doing more and more to communicate with us. But anyways, Sean had a great graduation day and a nice little after celebration! Sean was very excited to be finished school, every day since February he'd ask me, Mommy is today my last day of school? I really don't want to go to school today. He's even faked sick twice, so I now have to really check and make sure he isn't feeling well, haha he's to smart. We're all very proud of Sean. He is now 100% ready to start kindergarten next year. He'll be attending Our Lady of Calvary Catholic school next year. He has said that he's excited for kindergarten and he is even more excited about getting his uniform. He loves to be dressed nicely. Now in Philadelphia uniforms are worn at every school; catholic, public, and even the charter schools to. I'll admit that I'm a little sad that he'll be starting grade school part time next year. It feels like just last week he started the 3 year olds program at Nursery school. I'll miss having him here at home with me next year. This year he only went to school Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 to 11:30. His kindergarten schedule is every day from 7:30-1:00. I'm a little nervous about the transition because he isn't used to going to school everyday. But Im sure just like every other kid he'll get used to it. Soccer is also coming to an end as well. He has played 4 games 2 were cancelled due to rain and today was cancelled for memorial day. So this coming Saturday is his very last game. He'll get a picture and a trophy. He has done very well this year also. He has scored at least 2 goals every game. We'll be doing soccer again in the fall and if Colin is a little more matured by the fall he'll be joining his brother. We're trying to get Colin potty trained so he can do the 3 year olds program at the school Sean just graduated from. They really do a wonderful job at Christian Nursery School, the activities planned and the classes that are laid out, I feel are great the kids really did know their stuff when they left school, which is important. So hopefully we can get Colin started so that in 2 years he'll go to kindergarten to. 2 years seems so far away but before we know it Ill be writing to you all about Colin's pre school graduation. Time really does fly.

We're all really looking forward to summer. Summer for us usually means relaxing, vacationing, sleeping in and being outside all day, every day. It will be nice not to have 3 kids out the door by 8:40 am 3 days a week. I know next year will be even earlier and more frequent but I am going to enjoy the summer while it's here. Hope you all have a great summer to!

*May*

Well I haven't updated my blog in a little while and I figured I should try and keep up with Chrissy and Dina! lol Blogging is great I wish more of our family and friends had blogs, it'd be so easy to catch up with everyone and know what everyone's up to. *Hint, Hint* ;)

Well Sean.....He is getting ready to graduate preschool on May 22, 2008. We're so excited so see him in his little cap and gown. He is so funny at the christmas shows they put on at school. I am really looking forward to seeing him get his diploma and see what they do at graduation. Last year they closed the year with songs, ABC's, 123s and each child told the families what they wanted to be when they grow up. Sean told everyone he wanted to be a zoo keeper! haha I don't know where he came up with that one! But it was the 1st and last I heard of that! We had parent/teacher conferences in February. His teacher told his Dad and I how smart he is and how proud he'll make us in the future. She said " I never have to say anything twice to Sean, he always gets it". Sometimes he's a little to smart. He gets his spring progress report this Tuesday we're anxious to see how he did the 2nd half of the year. Sean also started his spring season of soccer. We started soccer the 2nd to last week of April. He's had 3 games so far. He's had at least 2 goals each game. This past Saturday the kids started alternating as goalie. It was a little more challenging for all the kids to shoot and score, but it does help them understand more about the game. He has tried karate twice with his friend Max. He always asks my girlfriend Christina to take him to watch Max's practices, but when he comes home he tells me how much he hated it! Which was kind of a relief to me. I know it'd be a lot if he wanted to do that to. Not only that but I did have that fear of him coming home and practicing what he learned at karate on his brothers. So luckily it wasn't something he wanted to be committed to. We were thinking of signing him and Colin up for swimming lessons, I think it's important for kids to know how to swim especially since we go swimming over my parents' house and any pool party I'm sure it helps. But we'll see what happens.

Colin's doing really good to. He will be 3 in August and he is really starting to act like a big boy now. All except for one thing that he won't let go of to transition himself to being an all around big boy and that's his diapers! I've already tried the whole "no diaper policy" but he just goes on the floor instead of the potty. Which becomes frustrating because I feel like Im potty training a dog instead of my son. We've tried bribing him into everything and anything just to get him to start a pattern of potty time. But he'd rather have his diapers instead of a shopping spree at Toys R Us. I'm just hoping we can get him trained by September so he can start going to preschool. I think he'd really enjoy school. I bet he'd be so well behaved there and socialize great with the other kids. Since the weathers been nice the boys and I have been outside all day every day. Colin is great at motor skills. He can ride a scooter so good! He whips corners, weaves in and out of toys, kids on bikes and he can stop fast to. Now that he's conquered that he is starting to get on a bike and feel confident about riding and knowing how to pedal and use the brakes. Anything that challenges him he's interested in doing. Which I consider motivation and at an early age that's a great sign! His temper is getting a little better also. Now that we're always outside I don't deal with the temper as much, he's fully occupied by outside activities and we're all a lot happier getting time outside to play. I like it, because they use a lot of energy and crash earlier than they usually do which allows me some time to get a little bit of laundry or house work done.

Paulie also loves to be outside. His favorite thing is the motorized car that my Mom bought Colin for his 1st birthday. It's a little motorized car that has a handle on the back which has a power button on it so Paulie thinks he's driving it himself but we're really pressing the power button and steering the car. His face lights up every time he sees us getting it out for him. Paulie's getting more and more teeth, it almost feels like by the day a new spot on his gum is bulging. His front 2 teeth are now officially in and the 2 beside the front 2 are bulging now to. The last 2 weeks he's been a little cranky. As most of you know, he has lactaid problems. He drinks lactaid milk but for some reason the past week and a half he's been throwing up usually at night time before bed....Im going to call the doctor and ask what I can do to prevent it or maybe find out what causes that to happen, it started making me feel afraid that he has some kind of stomach problem. Hopefully it's just something minor that needs to be cut out of his diet. Paulie's still not walking yet! He is still taking a couple steps to get him to the couch or the steps, etc. He still uses whatever he can to help him get around. I don't think he has the confidence yet to do it himself. But Im okay with him not walking yet, once he does I know he'll be everywhere!

I am still holding down the fort here at the house, taking care of the kids, etc. I recently just got a new hair cut. My hair has been long for a good while and I really wanted a change! Not to mention it would take me 40 mintues to do it and with the kids thats impossible to keep up with! So last Wednesday my girlfriend Jenni cut a lot of hair off. I was a little afraid to do it because, every time I've done it i've regreted it. But so far Im really liking the change. Jenni did a really good job on it so its easy for me to keep up with and on the hotter days its nice not to have the hair sticking to my neck, and back. Rich has always been a fan of short hair so its a plus that he likes it to! I posted a pic on my slide show. Rich is still working lots of hours which means we don't see him much. We do plan on having him take a week off in August so we can head down to the shore for a family vacation. My grandparents rent a shore house the first week of July till labor day every summer. Sean is already talking about us going to the shore. We love sitting on the beach with my Mommom and Pop. We always have a great time down the shore. It's so relaxing and the kids are always occupied and happy, they love the boardwalk. They love riding the rides and its so funny to watch them on the rides to! It's definitely a nice change of scenery from being stuck in the house every day during winter. My Mommom is always very entertaining! Never a dull moment! Which I love. The kids and I are going to miss both of my grandparents once they do leave for the summer. We have our daily routine now of walking the mall once a week for our exercise and sanity! Anytime we pull up to a mall even if my Mommom isn't meeting us there, Colin always says "Mommy, Mommom here??" Colin loves the reactions he gets out of my grand mother when he does something he's not supposed to. As much as she corrects him he always wants to be around her. My grandparents are going to be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on May 31st, which is also my sister Jaime's 21st birthday. My Mom & Dad are having a big celebration at their house for the big anniversary. Also hosting the party is; my Aunt Sue, Uncle John & Uncle Jerry. Everyone is coming together to make their anniversary a very special day and we're all looking forward to celebrating their big day. Congratulations Mommom & Pop!

We're about to add on another Cuddy to the family within the next week or two, with the arrival of Colbie Shea, soon to be daughter of Mollie and Danny. We're so excited for our cuddies to welcome their 1st child. Soon after Dina and Ken will be expecting their 2nd child in August, to me it's always exciting to add on to the growing family.

With that said, Mother's Day is around the corner Sunday. We have an event filled day to make sure we see all the special mothers in our lives. Without them we certainly do not know where we'd be! We really do appreciate both of our mothers and grandmothers. So we're hoping to have a fun day and look forward to spending quality time with our Moms who are very special to us and to our children. Thanks Mom and Mom F for everything you do for us and for always supporting us no matter what. We love you! ..and to all of our Aunts, cuddies, and friends who are mothers we hope you all have a wonderful Mother's day and you all better get spoiled on sunday for all the times we've wiped faces, hands, butts, and noses all year, we definitely deserve it! Happy Mother's Day!

Paulie's 1st hair cut! 4/1/08

Paul's party 3/30/08

Paulie's officially One!!

So Paulie turned one on March 30th! He survived his first year, yay! Christine had mentioned she's happy he survived with having 2 tough older brothers haha. We had a great first year with Paulie. When he was first born, I felt overwhelmed how could I take care of 3 little boys, he was up a little more than Colin was at night time but, it wasn't long before he got on a really good schedule, when we switched to formula at 4 months he slept all night and that's when his schedule really stuck. He was such a good infant always content and happy. He has such a bright personality and he already has a sense of humor. He's definitely a little actor he pretends to cough when other people do, he does a fake whine and makes such animated faces. The boys really love having a baby brother. Although they can be rough with him sometimes (which will mean he will be the toughest out of the 3 of them) they do teach him new things and include him during play time. He still hasn't taken any free steps but he's getting around holding onto tables, toys, gates, anything that's around to assist him. He still only has 2 teeth on the bottom but the top 2 look like they are ready to pop out of the gums. Paulie had 2 great birthday parties and loved eating cake and opening gifts at both. The party on sunday he stuck his foot in the cake but, that will always be a memory of his first birthday. I feel truly blessed to have him be a part of our family. Lately everyone's been getting pregnant and having children I on the other hand do not think 4 would mesh well for me and besides Paulie would be a tough act to follow. Thank You all for celebrating Paulie's birthday with us! We appreciated having you all and we loved all of his gifts. --->

Today was Paulie's first trip to the barber shop. My cousin Megan, I and the boys took him to JD's on Rowland Ave. Megan's boyfriend Jim did the honors. I was a little sad about taking him for his first hair cut but, I know he needed it, the boy has so much hair and it started hanging all in his face. It's a tradition in my family, not to cut the babies hair until they are one it's bad luck to cut it before then. Anwyays, Paulie sat so nice and did such a good job at getting his haircut. You would have thought he was a celebrity baby Megan had the video camera going and I was snapping a million pictures with my digital. The barbers probably thought oh she's just another psychotic, crazy mother! haha Jim was a good sport, and I didn't care it was a big moment for me as it was with the other 2 when getting their first hair cuts. I was so impressed by how good he was. He received a First Haircut Certificate and Jim gave us a strand of Paulie's baby hair to take home, which will be placed in his baby book. Now he is officially no longer an infant and Im not going to lie Im a little sad about him becoming a big boy. It went by to fast for me, but it always does. I'm really looking forward to watching him grow with his big brothers. At this stage he does something new every day and it is very exciting for all of us. Even the boys now will comment look Mom look at Paulie! They get a kick out of him when doing something they've never seen him do before. He really is the light of our lives.

Easter

Paulie's 1st

Easter 3/23

We celebrated Easter twice this weekend! Saturday night we celebrated Easter Eve with Mom and Dad Fell. We had dinner, the kids dyed eggs, and opened their easter baskets from Mom-mom & Pop Fell. We had a nice dinner and a nice night. On Easter Sunday we celebrated with my family at my parents house. We ate dinner, had the annual easter egg hunt, we did a new thing this year and played Rock Band on play station my sister Jaime, my brother Kevin and my Uncle Richie all sang, we had so much fun and it was definitely entertaining! We also celebrated Paulie's 1st birthday! I still can't believe that next week he's going to be a year it went by so fast as it always does. He clapped for himself when we were done singing....he didn't really get the whole blowing out the candles thing but, we're going to practice for his next birthday party this weekend. He liked opening the tissue paper out of the gift bags he got so many cute outfits and he definitely enjoyed eating his cake! We all had a nice holiday and hope you all did to! :)

Visiting the Easter bunny!

Easter Bunny Trip!

I hope you all enjoy the new pictures of the boys with the Easter bunny. Mommom and I took the boys to Franklin Mills to see the Easter bunny, Sean has been asking us for 2 weeks now to take him. He was so excited to visit the Easter bunny. I was afraid that Paulie would be to afraid to sit and take pictures but he loved the Easter bunny he was so funny, he checked him out, tried grabbing him and laughed out loud for a while on his lap. Colin was the one who wouldn't sit. I was a little upset because I really wanted a cute little group picture of all of them for Easter but Im hoping next year Paulie will still want to sit and Colin will be less afraid. Hope everyone has a great Easter!!
I'll be posting more pics of the boys from the holiday.

Sean 2/19/03

Seans 5

Seans 5 and Paulies first tooth

Sean's 5!!
Sean Patrick turned 5 years old on February 19th. It feels like just yesterday we celebrated his first birthday and 4 years have already passed by. Sean had 2 birthday parties this year. We celebrated at our house on the 8th with Mom and Dad Fell, and the Pagnotta and Fell sides of the family, and our neighbors. Sean also had a birthday party this past weekend at my Mom & Dad's with my side of the family, and some of my close girlfriends, and their kids. At both parties we had a Spiderman theme and a Spiderman decorated cake. We really enjoyed celebrating Sean's birthday with our family, friends, and neighbors. He got some really cool presents and enjoyed playing with his new stuff at home to. We appreciate everyone who joined us for the parties. Sean really had a great birthday!

On the 20th we had parent/teacher conferences at Sean's school. His Dad and I observed the class for a half hour, we participated in some of the activities with Sean and his class mates. Sean was the weather person that day and had to tell the class what the weather was like outside and he stood by the window and his classmates would ask him different questions like is it cloudy out, what color the sky was, if it was raining or snowing, etc. We then sat and looked over his report card, shortly after we met in the other room with his teacher Mrs. Saybolt. She told us that Sean is really doing great and he's all ready for kindergarten next year. He's getting much better at writing his name, he just needs to work on how he holds his pencil. The teacher closed the conference with telling us how proud we will be of him and how intelligent he really is. She said "You don't have to tell Sean anything twice". That made us feel great as parents to know how good he is doing in school. I soon realized the next day what his teacher meant when Dolores and I took the kids to the mall. Sean and Colin ran way in front of us we lost sight and me screaming to them was pointless at that time. As we were walking up the security guard was in sight and was standing there with the 2 boys. The security guard told me how smart they were. He said your older boy was so calm and just told me "It's ok im lost, just call my Mom she'll come get me" and he recited our home phone number to the guard. Of course my heart was racing and I told them they scared me half to death and Sean said "We weren't scared Mom". Thank god Sean and his classmates had to learn their phone numbers for school. I realized how helpful knowing our phone number could be in situations like that.

Colin is getting taller and thinner. He is communicating very well with us, his speech is much better. He likes to answer the phone and most people now mistake him with Sean when he answers the phone now. We still haven't been doing to good with potty training but I plan on working with him more over the summer in hopes that he can start school in the fall. Although most of the mom's that have other children in the 3 year old class say they can tell who just turned 3 before starting school and who didn't. I figured we'll give it a try and if he has to do pre-k twice thats fine. I think he'll enjoy school.

Paulie got his first tooth last thursday!! Yay! I was getting a little worried because he is 11 months now and I was starting to wonder if he'd ever get any teeth. They seem like they're all going to come in at once. He's been up during the night in pain because his mouths a little swollen you can tell more teeth are going to come through. But I guess its better he gets them all in now at one time so we won't have to do it one by one. He is eating everything now and just came off formula completely this week. He had trouble with regular milk so we give him lactaid and he's doing well with it. He is cruising around really well and really fast. He is now pulling up on everything and almost standing freely I have a feeling it won't be long before he takes his first step. He is at such an exciting stage we're getting to see his personality come out, and he's doing something new every day. He is going to have such a funny personality he is always doing things to make us laugh. Along with Ma & Da he is now saying that and c-c-c-aa meaning cat. He's going to talk early to. I can't believe he's going to be a year the end of this month. When we decide his birthday plans Ill let everybody know.
